With a focus on exceptional customer service, you will manage reservations, waiting lists, and seating arrangements, all while maintaining a friendly and organized atmosphere. Your effective communication skills will help coordinate with the server, kitchen, and bar teams to ensure seamless operations. Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome and greet guests as they arrive, creating a positive and inviting atmosphere.
• Manage reservations, waiting lists, and seating assignments efficiently to optimize the flow of guests during busy periods.
• Communicate effectively with the server, kitchen, and bar teams to ensure timely and coordinated service.
• Provide accurate information about menu offerings, specials, and any relevant restaurant details to guests.
• Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the host stand and waiting areas, to enhance the overall guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in high volume, upscale casual dining or an equivalent service environment preferred.
• Able to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends, and some holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 6-8 hours).
• Lift and carry up to 20 lbs (e.g., menus, high chairs, booster seats).
• Reach, bend, and stoop occasionally.
• Use hands and arms to operate reservation systems and phones.
• Clear verbal communication skills and ability to interact with guests in a busy environment.
• Ability to remain calm and composed while multitasking in a fast-pace setting.
