• To estimate wait times during busy hours, and to coordinate seating with the manager on duty.
• Inform the appropriate server of a new table after seating guests and giving menus.
• Keep the host stand and surrounding area clean and sanitary.
• To abide by the Silver Gulch Service Expectations.
• Assist in cleaning the dining room at night (tables, debris, mopping).
• Check out with the manager on duty before leaving.
• Other related duties may also be assigned.

Requirements

• To estimate wait times during busy hours, and to coordinate seating in conjunction with the manager on duty.
• After seating guests and giving them silver ware and menus, inform the appropriate server that he or she has a new table
• Keep the host stand and the surrounding area free of dust particles, clean, and sanitary.
• To abide by the Silver Gulch Service Expectations.
• To assist in the cleaning of the dining room at the end of each night. This includes wiping tables, sweeping all debris from the floor, and mopping the floor with hot soapy water
• To check out with the manager on duty before leaving each night.
• Other related duties may also be assigned

This Position Requires:

Minimum age required (18 years). The ability to effectively accomplish service objectives with a sense of urgency. The ability to work effectively with a minimum of supervision or support. Must be able to effectively organize people and service activities. Must be able to balance multiple activities with an attention to detail. Dedication to understanding and exceeding customer expectations

High school graduation (or equivalent) and at least two years of directly related food preparation experience. Candidates must have the ability to handle multiple tasks occurring at the same time.

A current “Food Handler’s Card”, reliable transportation, well groomed appearance and good hygiene

Physical Demands
