Job summary

Truluck’s Ocean’s Finest Seafood & Crab in the Rosemont area seeks friendly hosts to join our hospitality team. You will greet and seat guests, record reservations, and uphold Southern Hospitality at the front entry.

Ideal candidates are polite, with strong English communication and reliable computer skills. Evening shifts are available; standing for long hours is required, and benefits accompany full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Must be able to stand for 9 hours.
• Must be able to lift at least 20 pounds.
• Clear and accurate communication.
• Command of the English language.
• Basic computer skills.
• Action-oriented towards guest requests.

Responsibilities

• Perform host stand set-up, running side work and closing duties.
• Displays Southern Hospitality.
• Be the positive and uplifting first and last impression for guests.
• Greet and seat guests in an organized, professional, and friendly fashion.
• Properly record reservations and quote wait periods.
• Maintain cleanliness of front entry way.
• Assist in table maintenance when able.
• Stay current with all upcoming promotional events.
• Always friendly and courteous.
• Communicate all guest requests/special occasions to server and/or Leader on Duty.
• Always maintain clean and professional appearance.
• Work with “Teamwork” always in mind.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Leadership Team.

Compensation

$18-$21 per hour starting wage.
