Job summary

Blue Sushi Sake Grill in Birmingham, AL is seeking a friendly Host to create a warm first impression for guests. You will seat guests promptly, manage waitlists, assist with carry-out orders, and help deliver food to tables while learning our menu and service standards.

Knowledge of OpenTable and Toast is a plus; you should thrive in a fast-paced environment, be detail-oriented, and work a minimum of four days including Friday or Saturday and Sunday shifts.

Qualifications

• Available to work a minimum of four days including a Friday or Saturday, plus Sunday AM or PM.

Responsibilities

• Play an essential role in creating a great first and last impression for our guests.
• Seat guests promptly and efficiently, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued.
• Manage the waitlist, assist with carry-out orders, and help deliver food to tables as needed.
• Be knowledgeable about the menu and assist guests with questions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming area throughout their visit.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain smooth operations and exceptional service.
• Familiarity with OpenTable and Toast systems is a plus!
