Job summary

Hershey Lodge is seeking a part-time team member for the Fire & Grain restaurant to maintain a neat dining room and guest service area within the resort. The role includes supporting servers, restocking service areas, and ensuring a smooth guest experience in a family-friendly, award-winning setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist servers in dining room operations.
• Restock dining and service areas as needed.
• Clear and reset tables after guests depart.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning sheets.
• Pour coffee and water when required.
• Ensure condiments are stocked at guest tables.
• Tray and deliver food orders to the correct table.
• Communicate guest concerns to wait staff or supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.

This position is responsible for maintaining a neat and orderly dining room and the guest service area in the Fire & Grain restaurant located within the Hershey Lodge.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):

Assist servers*

Restock all dining and service areas*

Clearing and reset tables*

Completing daily and weekly cleaning sheets*

Pouring coffee and water when required*

Ensuring that condiments are amply supplied on the guest table prior to the guests taking their seats*

Traying food orders and delivering them to the correct table number efficiently and accurately*

Forwarding any guest concerns to the applicable wait staff person or supervisor*

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Must be at least 16 years of age or older.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Must demonstrate an ability to work in an organized and efficient manner.

Must demonstrate an ability to work with limited supervision.

Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers and staff.

Must present a clean and professional image.

Job Demands:

Must be able to work on one's feet for long periods of time.

Must be able to stoop, bend, push and lift up to 40 pounds.

Must work in a clean, efficient and orderly manner.

Ability to work flexible shifts including breakfast, lunch and dinner meal periods, according to operational needs

This is a union position and the work schedule will be based on union seniority. Candidates must be able to meet scheduled requirements, which will most likely require evening and weekend hours.
