Job summary

Hershey Lodge is seeking a Part-Time Team Member to assist restaurant management in delivering guest service and satisfaction at the resort in Hershey, PA. The role supports opening, seating, cash handling, and maintaining safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, coordinating reservations, answering questions, and performing other duties as assigned. Perks include free Hersheypark admission, free parking, and discounts for meals and shopping.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Experience in guest service is helpful.
• Ability to operate a POS system and handle transactions.

Job Duties

• Greet guests upon arrival in the restaurant and seat guests in accordance with their requests and server rotation*
• Complete opening and closing procedures, including cash control and settlement of guest charges*
• Coordinate reservations and seating charts, answer telephones; and oversee service, safety, and sanitation to ensure quality*
• Respond to guests' questions, requests, and concerns*
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to operate point-of-sale computer and calculator.
• Proven employee/guest relations, communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
• Professional image representative of company image.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and handle cash.

Job Demands

• Physical requirements include standing (up to 100% of shift), walking, bending, stooping, hearing, speaking and finger dexterity.
• The ability to communicate effectively in a loud environment.
• Ability to work a flexible eight-hour shift, breakfast, lunch, or dinner including weekends and holidays.
