Job summary

Turning Point Restaurants in New York is seeking enthusiastic superstars eager to join our award-winning breakfast and lunch team. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment but prefer daytime hours, as our restaurants close by 3 PM.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in a restaurant setting is recommended but not mandatory.
• Should be able to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and seat them appropriately.
• Take to-go orders and answer the phone.
• Maintain cleanliness at the host stand.
• Prepare tables and carry dishes to the kitchen.
• Assist servers with their needs during shifts.
• Respond to guest requests throughout the shift.

Skills

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and seat them at tables or in waiting areas
• Assign patrons to tables suitable for their needs and according to rotation
• Answer the phone and take to-go orders when necessary.
• Keep the host stand neat, tidy, and presentable for guests.
• Wipe and set tables, replace condiments, or other supplies
• Scrape and stack dirty dishes and carry dishes and other tableware to kitchens for cleaning
• Running food as needed to both bar and server's tables
• Assist the servers with any needs they may have to keep the guests happy
• Respond to any guest's requests during the shift
