Qualifications

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
• Prior experience in a restaurant is preferred but not mandatory.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Must be able to lift items up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and show them to their seats.
• Manage table assignments according to rotation.
• Answer phone calls and take to-go orders.
• Maintain cleanliness at the host stand.
• Set and wipe tables, replace condiments.
• Carry dishes and tableware to kitchens.
• Run food orders as needed.
• Assist servers with guest needs.
• Respond to guests' requests.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to)

• Greet guests and seat them at tables or in waiting areas
• Assign patrons to tables suitable for their needs and according to rotation
• Answer the phone and take to-go orders when necessary.
• Keep the host stand neat, tidy, and presentable for guests.
• Wipe and set tables, replace condiments, or other supplies
• Scrape and stack dirty dishes and carry dishes and other tableware to kitchens for cleaning
• Running food as needed to both bar and server’s tables
• Assist the servers with any needs they may have to keep the guests happy
• Respond to any guest's requests during the shift
