Job summary

Cut 132, a high-class steak restaurant, seeks a personable Host to greet guests and set a warm, lasting first impression for every dining experience. You will welcome guests, manage the arrival flow, and coordinate seating with precision to keep wait times fair and predictable.

You will manage reservations, communicate wait times, and collaborate with the service team to ensure smooth transitions during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Experience in high volume, upscale casual dining or an equivalent service environment preferred.
• Able to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends, and some holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 6-8 hours).
• Lift and carry up to 20 lbs (e.g., menus, high chairs, booster seats).
• Reach, bend, and stoop occasionally.
• Use hands and arms to operate reservation systems and phones.
• Clear verbal communication skills and ability to interact with guests in a busy environment.
• Ability to remain calm and composed while multitasking in a fast-pace setting.
