Job summary

Hotel Bardo Savannah is seeking a warm, polished Host/Hostess to join the Club Bardo’s Food & Beverage team. You will be the first and last contact for members, setting a welcoming tone and guiding guests to tables.

This PM shift requires Wednesday through Saturday availability, a friendly demeanor, and strong multitasking ability in a fast-paced club environment.

Qualifications

• Previous host/guest service experience preferred.
• Genuine passion for hospitality and personalized experiences.
• Warm, professional presence with strong communication skills.
• Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable using reservation systems and basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide members and guests with a warm, gracious welcome and escort them to their table.
• Manage reservations, seating flow, wait times, and special requests with accuracy and professionalism.
• Recognize returning members and help personalize their experience.
• Communicate clearly with service and culinary teams to support smooth restaurant operations.
• Maintain a polished, organized, and welcoming host stand and entry area.
• Develop a strong knowledge of menus, daily specials, club offerings, and property amenities.
• Assist with opening and closing responsibilities.
• Support the team in creating memorable dining experiences and resolving guest concerns when needed.

About the role

Hotel Bardo Savannah is seeking a warm, polished, and attentive Host/Hostess to join the Food & Beverage team at Club Bardo , our private membership club.

As the first and last point of contact for members and guests, the Host/Hostess plays an important role in setting the tone for the dining experience. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating genuine connections, anticipating guest needs, and ensuring every arrival feels expected, personal, and welcoming.

This is a PM shift with required availability of Wednesday thru Saturday.
