Job summary

LEFT LANE is seeking a warm, polished Host/Hostess for Hotel Bardo Savannah's Club Bardo, a private membership club. You will be the first and last contact for members and guests, setting a welcoming tone and guiding them to their table.

Your role includes managing reservations, seating flow, and personalizing guest experiences while collaborating with service and culinary teams to ensure a seamless dining experience.

Qualifications

• Previous host, restaurant, hotel, or guest service experience preferred.
• Warm, professional presence with strong communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable using reservation systems and basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide members and guests with a warm, gracious welcome and escort them to their table.
• Manage reservations, seating flow, wait times, and special requests with accuracy and professionalism.
• Recognize returning members and personalize their experience.
• Communicate clearly with service and culinary teams to support smooth restaurant operations.
• Maintain a polished, organized host stand and entry area.
• Develop knowledge of menus, daily specials, club offerings, and property amenities.
• Assist with opening and closing responsibilities.
• Support the team in creating memorable dining experiences and resolving guest concerns.

About the role

Hotel Bardo Savannah is seeking a warm, polished, and attentive Host/Hostess to join the Food & Beverage team at Club Bardo , our private membership club.

As the first and last point of contact for members and guests, the Host/Hostess plays an important role in setting the tone for the dining experience. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating genuine connections, anticipating guest needs, and ensuring every arrival feels expected, personal, and welcoming.
