Job summary

Hotel Bardo Savannah, a flagship property known for its club offerings, is seeking a warm, polished Host/Hostess to join the Club Bardo Food & Beverage team. You will welcome guests, manage reservations, and coordinate with service and kitchen staff to ensure a seamless dining experience.

The ideal candidate is guest-focused, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with strong communication skills. This role emphasizes personalized hospitality in a private club setting.

Qualifications

• Previous host, restaurant, hotel, or guest service experience is preferred.
• Genuine passion for hospitality and creating personalized experiences.
• Warm, professional presence with strong communication skills.
• Dependable, organized, and attentive to detail.
• Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable using reservation systems and basic computer applications.
• Professional appearance and grooming.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the physical requirements of the position.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide members and guests with a warm, gracious welcome and escort them to their table.
• Manage reservations, seating flow, wait times, and special requests with accuracy and professionalism.
• Recognize returning members and help personalize their experience.
• Communicate clearly with service and culinary teams to support smooth restaurant operations.
• Maintain a polished, organized, and welcoming host stand and entry area.
• Develop a strong knowledge of menus, daily specials, club offerings, and property amenities.
• Assist with opening and closing responsibilities.
• Support the team in creating memorable dining experiences and resolving guest concerns when needed.

About the role

Hotel Bardo Savannah is seeking a warm, polished, and attentive Host/Hostess to join the Food & Beverage team at Club Bardo , our private membership club.

As the first and last point of contact for members and guests, the Host/Hostess plays an important role in setting the tone for the dining experience.
