Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Host/ess for Cinco Ninos. You will provide a warm, friendly greeting and responsive service to dining guests, managing seating efficiency and guest satisfaction while coordinating with servers and team members to maintain an organized, welcoming dining environment.

Qualifications

• Front-of-house experience is preferred.
• Ability to operate POS and phone system.
• Bi-lingual skills are preferred but not required.
• Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests, escort to the assigned dining area and rotate tables as needed.
• Call out party name and number when tables become available in a courteous manner.
• Present menus and announce server’s name upon seating; check table presentation.
• Assist fellow associates (servers, bussers, hosts/hostesses, management) as needed.
• Answer telephone with proper Kalahari Resort verbiage.

Host/ess – Cinco Ninos

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Host/ess for Cinco Ninos. In this role, you will provide a warm and friendly greeting with a smile and responsive service for all dining guests. You will manage the efficiency and timeliness of seating guests to their tables with their wishes in mind.

As part of our leadership team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You’ll provide a warm welcome, managing waiting times efficiently, and setting a positive tone for the visit. You’ll support the team by coordinating with the servers and other team members to maintain an organized and friendly dining environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests, in a friendly manner, escorting them to the assigned dining area. Rotate tables when seating guests throughout the shift.
• Call out name and number of party when tables become available in a courteous and friendly manner with a pleasant, professional, and clear tone of voice.
• Upon seating, present menus; announce server’s name. Inspect table for proper presentation and completeness.
• Be ready and willing to assist fellow associates (servers, bussers, co-host/hostess, and management) as situations rise.
• Answer telephone with the proper Kalahari Resort verbiage.

What We’re Looking For

• General food and beverage knowledge, involving at least 1 year of front-of-the-house operations, is preferred.
• Ability to operate a point-of-sale and phone system.
• Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Bi-lingual skills are preferred but not required.
