Position Summary

Under general direction from the Restaurant Services Supervisor, responsible for providing an excellent first and last impression of the venue to guests and maintaining an efficient and courteous restaurant operation by greeting arriving customers in a friendly manner, seating customers promptly, and collecting payment and giving accurate change according to established policies and procedures.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Provide prompt, courteous guest service at all times following the Casino’s guest service standards including proper greeting and farewell.
  2. Answer phones and respond to guest requests.
  3. Meet arriving customers as they enter the restaurant with a cordial greeting.
  4. Escort customers to assigned tables, issue menus, and accommodate special needs or requests.
  5. Maintain a visible presence in the restaurant by remaining at the cashier station and circulating to assist servers or respond to customer requests.
  6. Assess operational efficiency and report to management.
  7. Solicit feedback from departing customers to improve services and increase customer base.
  8. Take notes on customer comments and report to management.
  9. Handle payments, operate the cash register, and give accurate change.
  10. Balance and reconcile reports at the end of each shift.
  11. Participate in staff meetings.
  12. Respond to customer questions about policies, procedures, and events.
  13. Resolve customer issues and escalate as needed.
  14. Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant and assist with cleaning duties.
  15. Check setup of tables and seating prior to opening.
  16. Report maintenance or housekeeping issues promptly.
  17. Exhibit professional appearance and courteous demeanor.
  18. Follow safety and service policies.
  19. Contribute to team efforts and perform related duties.
  20. Record transactions in POS system accurately.
  21. Assist guests and servers with orders and beverage service.
  22. Keep work area clean and stocked, prepare for next shift.
  23. Clean tables, refill menus, and maintain POS knowledge.
  24. Process to-go orders and assist with catering deliveries.
  25. Support servers, porters, and caterers as needed.
  26. Perform other duties as required.
Additional Information

Access to Sensitive Areas: F&B storage areas.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required. Six months of cash handling and guest service experience. Excellent interpersonal skills. ServSafe certification and F&B experience preferred. Must pass background checks and obtain gaming license.

Physical Demands

Work Environment

May be exposed to cigarette smoke, noisy environment, indoor and outdoor conditions, extreme temperatures.

Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
