The Park is seeking exceptional hosts in West Palm Beach to join our team at The Park West Palm Golf Course. This part-time role involves reservations, greeting guests, guiding seating, and maintaining a welcoming greeting area.

You will use OpenTable to manage reservations, engage guests with a friendly, professional demeanor, and support the team during peak service times. A minimum of one year in hosting in a high-volume setting is preferred, with flexible availability including nights and

Responsibilities

• Take reservations and plot seating using OpenTable.
• Greet guests upon arrival with a genuine smile.
• Escort guests to their table and engage in conversation.
• Maintain greeting area with attention to detail and sanitation.
• Takeout order placement and timely processing.
• Process payments for takeout orders with a cash drawer.
• Assist in resetting the restaurant to maintain atmosphere.

Salary Range: $15.00 To $18.00 Hourly

The House is seeking exceptional hosts to join our team presented by The Park West Palm Golf Course.
The House is a 150-seat, culinary-driven, locally inspired restaurant showcasing lush views of the newly renovated public golf course. The atmosphere boasts a clean, modern design with a menu featuring fresh coastal American cuisine. It will be paired with refreshing cocktails, an approachable wine list, and a selection of local beers from throughout Florida.

Job Functions

• Responsible for taking reservations and plotting seating arrangements using OpenTable
• Greeting guests upon arrival with a genuine smile
• Escorting guests to their table and engaging conversation while walking with guests, not ahead of them
• Preparing and maintaining the greeting area with special attention to detail and sanitation
• Placing takeout orders in an accurate and timely fashion
• Completing payment transactions for takeout orders with a cash drawer
• Assisting team members with resetting the restaurant to maintain our ideal atmosphere

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience hosting in a high-volume hospitality establishment preferred
• Highly enthusiastic and welcoming personality
• Open availability including nights, weekends and holidays
• Ability to recognize multiple VIP and regular guests by name and their dining preferences
• Work well with a team
• Able to stand & work on their feet for long periods of time
• Able to safely lift 25 lbs.
• High-level organizational and time management skills
