Job summary

Pacific Catch, Inc. is seeking friendly hosts to deliver first-class service in a fast-paced restaurant in Palo Alto. You will welcome Guests, seat them, present the menu, and answer phone inquiries while maintaining a warm, professional demeanor.

The role requires 1+ year in customer service or hospitality, high school diploma, and ability to operate a POS system. Weekend availability may apply for part-time scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of Pacific Catch, engaging with Guests, inviting Guests in, seating Guests, introducing the menu and answering the phone.

• Provide top-notch hospitality in a fast-paced environment and support fellow team members.

Schedule

This is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt position. Hours may be different every week and schedules are not set or guaranteed. Weekend availability is a must.

Compensation

$18.70 Per Hour

Job Requirements

• Ability to provide top-notch hospitality in a fast-paced environment
• A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with all restaurant Team Members
• Be the face of Pacific Catch, engaging with Guests, inviting Guests in, seating Guests, introducing the menu, and answering the phone
• Adaptable, flexible, and able to manage a heavy workload. Ability to prioritize well and remember all Guest requests
• Embraces all Pacific Catch’s Core Values, Hospitality Standards, and Team Member Standards
• Ability to operate a POS system and Open Table Software
• Ability to accurately handle cash and all financial transactions

Education / Experience

• High school education is required; Hospitality or other degrees are a plus
• Minimum 1-year experience in the restaurant/customer service industry preferred

Physical

• Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to 5 hours in length
• Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 35 pounds
