Job summary

Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated in Orlando, FL is seeking a Host to warmly welcome guests, seat guests and assist servers as needed. You will help manage waitlists, communicate with management about guest flow, and ensure a smooth dining experience.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, superior guest relations, clear English, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. We offer benefits, PTO and development opportunities as part of our people-centric culture.

Qualifications

• Must have superior guest relations skills and the ability to answer guest inquiries about the Resort.
• Must have proper phone etiquette to take to-go orders.
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Must have demonstrated exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to clearly speak, write and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome guests, seat guests and bid a fond farewell and invite for a return visit.
• Uses organization skills to run a waitlist, gauge the kitchen, servers and overall dining room performance; determines where guests will be seated.
• Ensures that large group's requirements are met, including services needed for small children, as well as for individuals with disabilities or food allergies.
• Inspects and maintains the arrival area, doors, windows as well as menu covers and inserts.
• Multi-tasking in a high volume and high demand work environment and Understands the dining room and menu offerings.

The Host will be responsible for greeting and seating guests, as well as, assisting servers as needed. The Host will liaise with management regarding inordinate guest flow, special requests/occasions, and customer feedback. The Host will also be responsible for overall greet and goodbye ceremonies.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
