Job summary

Snooze East Nashville in Nashville, TN is seeking a friendly Host to welcome guests, manage the host stand, and support the dining team during breakfast service.

You’ll keep the waitlist moving, answer phones, assist with takeout orders, and help maintain clean, inviting dining areas. No late nights; opportunities to grow in our upbeat cafe await you.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or food service preferred.
• Must be at least 17 years old and eligible to work in the US.
• Able to stand for up to 9 hours and lift up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the host stand, coffee station, and outside patio area.
• Welcome guests and thank them upon departure.
• Seat guests promptly and manage waitlists via iPad/POS.
• Answer phones, place-to-go orders, and enter them into the POS.
• Inspect restrooms regularly and refresh as needed.
• Assist with food delivery and bussing tables as required.

The Position Specifics

Taking on the role of Host isn’t just bacon and pancakes. The Snooze experience starts and ends with you! The responsibilities of this position include:

• Maintain host stand, coffee station, and outside patio area
• Welcome each Guest into our home and thank them when they leave
• Seat each Guest in a timely manner and effectively manage the waitlist Ipad system
• If on a wait keep the crowd excited and having FUN!!
• Answer phones, place to-go orders, and enter them into the POS system
• Inspect and refresh restrooms every 30 minutes
• Respond appropriately to Guest requests. Communicate Guest requests to Server as needed
• Assist teammates as needed with food delivery and bussing tables

• able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours)

• Prior experience recommended, not required

Certification Requirements

All county required food and alcohol serving certifications must be obtained prior to employment.
