Job summary

Snooze West University is seeking a friendly, energetic Host to welcome guests, manage the host stand, and keep the dining area running smoothly. You’ll greet guests, seat them promptly, and help maintain a clean, inviting space in a fast-paced breakfast venue.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old and authorized to work in the US.
• Ability to stand for up to 9 hours.
• Retail/food service experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain host stand, coffee station, and outside patio area.
• Welcome each guest into our home and thank them when they leave.
• Seat guests promptly and manage the waitlist and iPad system.
• Answer phones, take to-go orders, and enter them in the POS.
• Inspect and refresh restrooms every 30 minutes.
• Assist with food delivery and bussing tables.
• Coordinate with servers to relay guest requests.

The Position Specifics

Taking on the role of Host isn’t just bacon and pancakes. The Snooze experience starts and ends with you!

The responsibilities of this position include:

• Maintain host stand, coffee station, and outside patioarea
• Welcome each Guest into our home and thank them when theyleave
• Seat each Guest in a timely manner and effectively manage the waitlistIpad system
• If on a wait keep the crowd excited and having FUN!!
• Answer phones, place to-go orders, and enter them into the POSsystem
• Inspect and refresh restrooms every 30minutes
• Respond appropriately to Guest requests. Communicate Guest requests to Server asneeded
• Assist teammates as needed with food deliveryand bussingtables
