Job summary

Johnny Carino's is seeking a friendly Host to greet guests, seat parties, and create a welcoming first impression as they enter the restaurant.

You may also assist with To-Go orders, answer phones, manage the wait list and reservations, and help ensure all orders are accurate and timely.

Must be at least 16 years old, with availability in the evenings, weekends and holidays; no experience required, restaurant experience is a plus.

POSITION SUMMARY:

As the Host, you’re the first person guests see when they enter our doors!Hosts are in charge of greeting guests and making them feel welcomeat Johnny Carino's.Hosts mayalso assist with To-Go orders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet all guests with a warm welcome upon arrival.
• Seat guests and accommodate special requests.
• Manage the wait list: record guest names and number in party and provide estimated waiting time.
• Provide an exceptional To-Go experience for every Guest – from taking both phone and walk-in orders, ringing the orders in the Point of Sale system, packaging the items, cashing the guest out and ensuring all orders are on-time and accurate.
• Answer phones and manage the restaurant reservation system.
• Inspect tables for proper presentation and completeness.
• Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
