Job summary

Snooze Huntington Beach is seeking a friendly Host to welcome guests, seat guests, manage the waitlist, and keep the dining area tidy. You’ll be the face of the restaurant, coordinating with servers and kitchen, and ensuring a smooth guest experience.

This role features weekly pay, benefits for full-time staff after a year, and opportunities for development. You should be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 20 pounds, and have at least 17 years old and eligible to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Maintain host stand, coffee station, and outside patio area.

• Seat guests promptly and manage waitlist.
• Answer phones and place to-go orders.
• Enter orders into the POS system.
• Inspect and refresh restrooms every 30 minutes.
• Assist with food delivery and bussing tables.

The Position Specifics

Taking on the role of Host isn’t just bacon and pancakes. The Snooze experience starts and ends with you! The responsibilities of this position include:

• Maintain host stand, coffee station, and outside patio area
• Welcome each Guest into our home and thank them when they leave
• Seat each Guest in a timely manner and effectively manage the waitlist Ipad system
• If on a wait keep the crowd excited and having FUN!!
• Answer phones, place to-go orders, and enter them into the POS system
• Inspect and refresh restrooms every 30 minutes
• Respond appropriately to Guest requests. Communicate Guest requests to Server as needed
• Assist teammates as needed with food delivery and bussing tables

  • Prior experience recommended, not required

  Required Certification (Must obtain prior to employment):

  • All county required food and alcohol serving certifications must be obtained prior to employment, including but not limited to California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification that meets the state’s standards.
