Job summary

Connections Bar & Grill is seeking warm, energetic Hosts to be the face of our Southern-inspired social dining destination. You will greet guests, manage seating and waitlists, escort guests to tables, and help maintain a smooth front-of-house flow in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years hosting experience, is 21+, and demonstrates excellent communication, strong organization, multitasking, and familiarity with reservation platforms.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet guests, manage seating and waitlists, escort to tables, and thank departing guests.
• Use reservation software to manage floor flow, confirm links, assign tables, and notify staff as tables open.
• Maintain active communication with management, servers and bussers to ensure smooth seating flow and efficient table turnover; assist with training new hosts.
• Participate in restaurant promotions and opening/closing duties, keep entry and host stand sanitized and organized, and complete shift duties.

About the Role

We are seeking warm, energetic Hosts to serve as the face of our restaurant. You will create exceptional first and last impressions, set the stage for an outstanding dining experience, and keep the front door running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

Employment & Training Note: All of our roles are At-Will positions. Candidates offered a position are required to complete initial training. Upon successful completion, you will transition into your active role; failure to pass training will result in termination of employment.

Key Responsibilities

• Guest Hospitality: Warmly greet arriving guests, manage floor seating/waitlists accurately, escort guests to tables, and genuinely thank departing guests.
• Reservation & Table Management: Utilize reservation software to manage floor flow, send confirmation links, assign tables, and notify servers and managers as tables open up.
• Teamwork & Floor Flow: Maintain active communication with management, servers, and bussers to ensure smooth seating flow and efficient table turnover; assist with training new hosts.
• Promotions & Opening/Closing: Participate in restaurant promotional and social media efforts, keep entry and host stand sanitized and organized, and complete shift duties.
