Job summary

Snooze is hiring a Host in Houston, TX who will greet guests, manage seating, and maintain the host stand and adjacent areas. You’ll be the first smiling face our guests see and play a key role in delivering a warm, efficient dining experience.

Responsibilities include welcoming guests, seating promptly, managing the waitlist on the iPad, answering phones, handling to-go orders, and helping with bussing and food delivery. Must be 17+ and able to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old and authorized to work in the US.
• Familiar with POS and iPad systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain host stand, coffee station, and outside patio area
• Welcome each Guest into our home and thank them when they leave
• Seat each Guest in a timely manner and manage the waitlist via iPad
• If on a wait, keep the crowd excited and having FUN
• Answer phones, place to-go orders, and enter them into the POS system
• Inspect and refresh restrooms every 30 minutes
• Assist teammates with food delivery and bussing tables

The Position Specifics

Taking on the role of Host isn’t just bacon and pancakes.

The Snooze experience starts and ends with you!

The responsibilities of this position include:

• Maintain host stand, coffee station, and outside patio area
• Welcome each Guest into our home and thank them when they leave
• Seat each Guest in a timely manner and e effectively manage the waitlist Ipad system
• If on a wait keep the crowd excited and having FUN!!
• Answer phones, place to-go orders, and enter them into the POS system
• Inspect and refresh restrooms every 30 minutes
• Respond appropriately to Guest requests. Communicate Guest requests to Server as needed
• Assist teammates as needed with food delivery and bussing tables

Is This Role For you?

• able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours)
• able to safely lift and easily maneuver up to 20 pounds
• are at least 17 years of age and authorized to work in the US
• Prior experience recommended, not required

Certification Requirements

All county required food and alcohol serving certifications must be obtained prior to employment.
