Job summary

Snooze is hiring a friendly Host to welcome guests, manage the host stand and waitlist, and coordinate with the team to ensure smooth seating and guest flow. You will greet guests warmly, help with to-go orders, and keep the dining area tidy and prepared for guests.

This role emphasizes timing, customer service, and teamwork, with a focus on a positive, high-energy morning shift. Training will cover the iPad POS system and guest communication, ensuring a seamless Snooze experience for all

Qualifications

• Must obtain county food and alcohol serving certifications prior to employment (California RBS Certification required).

Responsibilities

• Maintain host stand, coffee station, and outside patio area.
• Welcome each guest into our home and thank them when they leave.
• Seat each guest in a timely manner and manage the waitlist using the iPad POS system.
• Answer phones and take to-go orders, entering them into the POS.
• Inspect and refresh restrooms every 30 minutes.
• Assist teammates with food delivery and bussing tables.
• Respond to guest requests and communicate them to the server as needed.

The Position Specifics

• If on a wait keep the crowd excited and having FUN!!
• Answer phones, place to-go orders, and enter them into the POS system
• Inspect and refresh restrooms every 30minutes
• Respond appropriately to Guest requests. Communicate Guest requests to Server asneeded d
• Assist teammates as needed with food deliveryand bussingtables

Is This Role For you?

• fun, energetic, eager, and a committed team member
• familiar withbasic knowledge of Snooze service
• familiarwith POS and iPad systems
• able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours)
• able to safely lift and easily maneuver up to 20pounds
• are at least 17 years of age and authorized to work in the US
• Prior experience recommended, not required

Required Certification (Must obtain prior to employment):

• All county required food and alcohol serving certifications must be obtained prior to employment, including but not limited to California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification that meets the state’s standards.
