Job summary

Snooze is hiring a Host to greet guests, manage the host stand and waitlist, seat guests promptly, answer phones, and help with dining operations. You’ll work as part of a friendly team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining the coffee station, coordinating with servers, and ensuring clean restrooms. Benefits include insurance options, 401(k), and paid time off, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• All county required food and alcohol serving certifications must be obtained prior to employment, including California RBS Certification that meets the state’s standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain host stand, coffee station, and outside patio area.
• Welcome each guest into our home and thank them when they leave.
• Seat each guest in a timely manner and manage the waitlist on the iPad system.
• Answer phones, place to-go orders, and enter them into the POS system.
• Assist teammates with food delivery and bussing tables.
• Inspect and refresh restrooms every 30 minutes.
• Communicate guest requests to servers as needed.

The Position Specifics

Taking on the role of Host isn’t just bacon and pancakes. The Snooze experience starts and ends with you! The responsibilities of this position include:

• Maintain host stand, coffee station, and outside patio area
• Welcome each Guest into our home and thank them when they leave
• Seat each Guest in a timely manner and effectively manage the waitlist Ipad system
• If on a wait keep the crowd excited and having FUN!!
• Answer phones, place to-go orders, and enter them into the POS system
• Inspect and refresh restrooms every 30 minutes
• Respond appropriately to Guest requests. Communicate Guest requests to Server as needed
• Assist teammates as needed with food delivery and bussing tables

• familiar with basic knowledge of Snooze service
• familiar with POS and iPad systems
• able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours)
• able to safely lift and easily maneuver up to 20 pounds
• are at least 17 years of age and authorized to work in the US
• Prior experience recommended, not required

Required Certification (Must obtain prior to employment):

• All county required food and alcohol serving certifications must be obtained prior to employment, including but not limited to California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification that meets the state’s standards.
