Job summary

Snooze is hiring a Host to welcome guests, manage the waitlist, and seat diners with a friendly, efficient approach. You’ll maintain the host stand, coffee station, and patio, while helping with phones and to-go orders.

Prior experience is helpful, though not required, and safety and cleanliness are emphasized in daily routines. Qualified candidates should be comfortable standing up to 9 hours, lifting up to 20 pounds, and working in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and manage busy work pace.
• Friendly, energetic team player with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Maintain host stand, coffee station, and outdoor patio.
• Greet guests and manage the waitlist; seat guests promptly.
• Answer phones, take to-go orders, and input into POS.
• Assist with food delivery and bussing tables as needed.

The Position Specifics

Taking on the role of Host isn’t just bacon and pancakes.

The Snooze experience starts and ends with you!

The responsibilities of this position include:

• Maintain host stand, coffee station, and outside patio area
• Welcome each Guest into our home and thank them when they leave
• Seat each Guest in a timely manner and e effectively manage the waitlist Ipad system
• If on a wait keep the crowd excited and having FUN!!
• Answer phones, place to-go orders, and enter them into the POS system
• Inspect and refresh restrooms every 30 minutes
• Respond appropriately to Guest requests. Communicate Guest requests to Server as needed
• Assist teammates as needed with food delivery and bussing tables

Is This Role For you?

• able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours)
• able to safely lift and easily maneuver up to 20 pounds
• are at least 17 years of age and authorized to work in the US
• Prior experience recommended, not required

Certification Requirements

All county required food and alcohol serving certifications must be obtained prior to employment.
