Job Description

To ensure all guests are greeted and seated in a friendly and courteous manner using appropriate procedures, in accordance with Omni Standards. To handle all payment transactions for all foods and/or beverages purchased in the hotel's restaurants.

Responsibilities

+ Answering phone correctly and politely

+ Takes reservations as needed and enter into Open Table correctly according to training guidelines

+ Greeting guests and seat guests

+ Keep host stand clean and organized

+ Control heavy volume at Restaurant entrance

+ Knowledge of hotel property

+ Inform the guest about daily features and menu items

+ Knowledge of Bobs concept and menu

+ Attend to and anticipate guest’s needs

+ Familiarization with menu and know how to properly take to go orders as needed

+ Follow server rotation, seating and informing servers with chits correctly

+ Inform manager of all potential issues or complaints immediately

+ Provide nightly guest tracking to manager prior to leaving

+ Complete other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

+ Previous experience as a bartender in a hotel, restaurant, or similar establishment preferred.

+ Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage and interact with diverse clientele.

+ Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

+ Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

+ Stock the public lobby and restaurant coolers.

+ Attention to detail and cleanliness.

+ Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
