Job Title: Host/Hostess

As a Host or Hostess, you will be responsible for greeting guests and seating them promptly, cheerfully, and courteously. Your duties include seating guests, answering the phone, taking, entering, and packaging To-Go orders. Candidates should have good communication skills, be able to lift 25-50 pounds, stand for up to 8 hours, and occasionally use motion such as pushing, pulling, stretching, and bilateral use of fingers and wrists. This description is not all-inclusive.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting, seating, and escorting guests
• Opening doors for arriving and departing guests
• Accommodating guests with special needs (boosters, highchairs, disabilities)
• Processing To-Go and Delivery Orders
• Managing the Wait List during busy times
• Providing menu recommendations and additional information
• Upselling products when appropriate
• Taking orders via software, slips, or memorization
• Communicating order details to the kitchen
• Delivering food and beverages timely to outside guests
• Delivering checks and collecting payments
• Cleaning and maintaining the restaurant's appearance
• Providing exceptional customer service

Job Requirements:
