Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet customers upon entry, thank them as they leave
• Seat guests appropriately, considering their needs and server rotation
• Pre-bus, clear, and wipe down tables
• Maintain the host stand with supplies (crayons, kid menus, reservation forms, etc.)
• Set up the patio in the morning and close it down in the evening (seasonal)
• Assist with running food and beverages when needed
• Provide accurate wait time estimates during busy periods
• Keep the front-of-house organized and tidy
• Inform guests of daily specials and seat them accordingly
• Assist with opening and closing tasks and side work
• Learn the food and beverage menu
• Rotate seating stations to balance workloads among waitstaff
• Answer phones, take reservations and to-go orders, and address questions
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications and Experience:

• At least 1 year of customer service experience preferred
• Food Safety and alcohol management certifications required
• Ability to work under deadlines and pressure
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Friendly, outgoing, and a team player
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand and be active for 8+ hours, climb stairs, lift up to 30 lbs, and use basic cleaning equipment
