Job summary

Snooze is hiring a Host to welcome guests, manage the front-of-house flow, and keep the dining area running smoothly. You’ll be the friendly face that starts every guest’s morning with a smile, seating guests promptly and handling to-go orders when needed.

The role emphasizes a positive, energetic team member who can stand for long periods, handle a bustling dining room, and contribute to a fun, safety-conscious workplace. Candidates must be 17+ and authorized to work in the US.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old and eligible to work in the US.
• Prior host/FOH experience recommended, not required.
• Able to stand up to 9 hours.
• Able to safely lift up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain host stand, coffee station, and outdoor patio areas.
• Greet guests and guide them to seating.
• Seat guests promptly and manage the waitlist via iPad POS system.
• Answer phones and take to-go orders.
• Assist in clearing and bussing tables as needed.

The Position Specifics

Taking on the role of Host isn’t just bacon and pancakes. The Snooze experience starts and ends with you! The responsibilities of this position include:

• Maintain host stand, coffee station, and outside patio area
• Welcome each Guest into our home and thank them when they leave
• Seat each Guest in a timely manner and e effectively manage the waitlist Ipad system
• If on a wait keep the crowd excited and having FUN!!
• Answer phones, place to-go orders, and enter them into the POS system
• Inspect and refresh restrooms every 30 minutes
• Respond appropriately to Guest requests. Communicate Guest requests to Server needed
• Assist teammates as needed with food delivery and bussing tables

Certification Requirements

All county required food and alcohol serving certifications must be obtained prior to employment.
