Job summary

Snooze an AM Eatery in The Woodlands, TX is seeking a Host to greet guests, manage seating, and support service teams in a fast-paced breakfast setting.

You’ll maintain the host stand, assist with waitlists on the iPad, answer calls, and help with to-go orders while keeping common areas clean and welcoming for every guest.

Qualifications

• Must be fun, energetic, and a committed team member.
• Familiar with POS and iPad systems.
• Able to work standing for long periods (up to 9 hours).
• Authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Maintain host stand, coffee station, and outside patio area.
• Welcome each guest into our home and thank them when they leave.
• Seat each guest in a timely manner and manage the waitlist using the iPad system.
• Keep the wait group entertained and engaged if there is a wait.
• Answer phones, place to-go orders, and enter them into the POS system.
• Inspect and refresh restrooms every 30 minutes.

The Position Specifics

Taking on the role of Host isn’t just bacon and pancakes. The Snooze experience starts and ends with you! The responsibilities of this position include:

• Maintain host stand, coffee station, and outside patio area
• Welcome each Guest into our home and thank them when they leave
• Seat each Guest in a timely manner and e ffectively manage the waitlist Ipad system
• If on a wait keep the crowd excited and having FUN!!
• A nswer phones, plac e to-go orders, and enter them into the POS system
• Inspect and refresh restrooms every 30 minutes
• Respond appropriately to Guest requests. Communicate Guest requests to Server as neede d
• Assist teammates as needed with food delivery and bussing tables

• familiar with POS and iPad systems
• able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours)
• able to safely lift and easily maneuver up to 20 pounds
• are at least 17 years of age and authorized to work in the US
• Prior experience recommended, not required

Certification Requirements

All county required food and alcohol serving certifications must be obtained prior to employment.
