IHOP is seeking a friendly and efficient host/hostess in Columbia, SC to greet guests, seat them promptly, and ensure a welcoming dining experience. Responsibilities include managing seating rotations, handling guest concerns, answering calls, processing to-go orders, and maintaining restrooms and waiting lists.

The role emphasizes quick, courteous service and teamwork within a busy family-dining environment. Training will cover customer interaction and restaurant standards.

• Rotate station seating to ensure the quality of guest service.
• May handle guest complaints, inquire about the quality of the dining experience, thank guests, and invite them to return.
• Answer the telephone, take messages, and take and complete all To Go orders.
• Maintain a waiting list as necessary.
• Check restrooms hourly to ensure proper stock levels and cleanliness.

Greet guests as they enter the restaurant (within 30 seconds) and seat them as soon as a table is available.

Rotate station seating to ensure the quality of guest service.

May handle guest complaints, inquire about the quality of the dining experience, thank guests, and invite them to return.

Answer the telephone, take messages, and take and complete all To Go orders.

Maintain a waiting list as necessary.

Check restrooms hourly to ensure proper stock levels and cleanliness.
