P.F. Chang's in California is hiring for a Host or Hostess to help deliver an exceptional hospitality experience by guiding guests, greeting them, managing seating flow, and answering questions when wait times occur.

The role requires friendly, professional demeanor, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced dining room, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards; prior experience is not required as training is provided.

P.F. Chang's Pay Range (based on experience): $17.00 - $20.00 / hour

Job Summary

The Host is responsible for delivering an excellent hospitality experience by maintaining the overall flow of the restaurant. They provide a positive and professional first and last impression to every guest. In the event there is a wait time, quote an accurate wait time and answer any questions the guest may have.

Job Responsibilities

• Interact courteously with Guests (answer phones, greet Guests, seat Guests, make reservations, take food orders)
• Uphold our high safety and sanitation standards by completing sanitation practices at front door, host desk, lobby area and crowd control
• Learn restaurant seating layout, how tables are divided into server areas, and how to deliver food
• Set and clear a table neatly and efficiently according to P.F. Chang’s specifications
• Learn curbside process and takeout expectationsConducts side-work as required for each shift
