P.F. Chang's in Wayne, NJ is seeking a Host/Hostess to maintain the flow of the restaurant and deliver an excellent hospitality experience.

You will greet guests, seat parties, answer questions, and manage wait times to ensure a positive first impression. No prior experience is required as training is provided; we value friendly service, effective communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Interact courteously with guests (answer phones, greet guests, seat guests, make reservations, take food orders).
• Uphold high safety and sanitation standards by completing sanitation practices at front door, host desk, lobby area and crowd control.
• Learn restaurant seating layout, how tables are divided into server areas, and how to deliver food.
• Set and clear a table neatly and efficiently according to PF Chang’s specifications.
• Learn curbside process and takeout expectations.
• Conduct side-work as required for each shift.

P.F. Chang's Pay Range (based on experience): $17.50 - $20.50 / hour

Job Summary

The Host is responsible for delivering an excellent hospitality experience by maintaining the overall flow of the restaurant. They provide a positive and professional first and last impression to every guest. In the event there is a wait time, quote an accurate wait time and answer any questions the guest may have.
