Experience & Qualifications

• At least 1 year of hosting experience in a fast-paced, full-service restaurant.
• Passion for excellence, superior service standards, and a positive attitude.
• Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift, including frequent bending, lifting items up to 50 lbs, and stooping.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure all stations are properly stocked and set up before and during service, including completing opening duties.
• Manage reservation systems: confirmation messages, guest check-ins, special requests, and table plotting.
• Lead guests to tables, follow seating standards, and create a positive first impression.
• Anticipate guest needs, provide genuine service, and create personal connections using guest names when possible.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area throughout service.
• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and acknowledge their departure.
• Address guest needs or concerns promptly and communicate any issues to leadership.
• Complete closing duties, including cleaning and other tasks assigned by leadership.
• Execute all steps of Hogsalt's service standards.
