Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Bloomington is seeking a friendly Host to welcome guests, seat them promptly, and present menus in alignment with our service standards and sustainability goals. You will support daily operations and ensure a welcoming dining atmosphere.

Responsibilities include coordinating seating, maintaining dining room setup, recording reservations, and assisting with special events. Previous customer service experience is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Read, maintain and make daily entries in the log book to coordinate communication between shifts and management.
• Maintain proper set-up of the dining room.
• Assist as needed or requested with service.
• Receive records and make any necessary arrangements for reservations and special functions in the restaurant.
• Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program.
• Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
