Job summary

HHM Hotels is seeking a Host to greet guests, escort them to tables, and present menus. You will help maintain dining room setup, assist with service, and coordinate reservations and special events in our restaurant.

The role requires standing for extended periods, compliance with safety standards, and a customer-first approach. Growth paths include advancing to Restaurant Supervisor or Front Office Supervisor within HHM Hotels.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort guests to tables and present menu.
• Read, maintain and log daily communications between shifts.
• Ensure proper dining room setup and ambiance.
• Assist with service as needed or requested.
• Manage reservations and arrange special functions in the restaurant.
• Adhere to sustainability guidelines and EarthView program.
• Follow safety procedures and use protective equipment as required.

Your Focus

• Meet and greet guests as they arrive, offer choice of seating, escort to the dining table and present menu.
• Read, maintain and make daily entries in the log book to coordinate communication between shifts and management.
• Maintain proper set-up of the dining room.
• Assist as needed or requested with service.
• Receive records and make any necessary arrangements for reservations and special functions in the restaurant.
• Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program.
• Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Your Background and Skill

• High school diploma or equivalent .
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
