Job summary

SSP America is looking for a Utility to help keep our restaurants clean and sanitized for guests and our team in San Jose, CA. You will take pride in creating a safe, welcoming environment and performing essential cleaning tasks with high standards.

As a Utility, you will clean all surfaces and equipment, stock supplies, help unload and transport items, and assist guests and staff with specific needs while maintaining hygienic work areas. Full-time hours and paid training are provided.

• Ability to perform physical, repetitive cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive guest experience by cleaning and maintaining hygienic work areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of surfaces and equipment including floors, ceilings, walls, and fixtures.
• Removes refuse to designated areas.
• Clear and reset tables between seatings and transport service ware to the kitchen.
• Wash dishes by hand or in a dishwasher and return them to storage.
• Clean equipment using chemicals to meet sanitary standards; may include heavy equipment.
• Assist guests with specific requests and communicate needs to staff.
• Load/unload supply trucks and stock items.
• Rotate and check the temperature of food items.
• Other duties as assigned.
