Job summary

Lakeshore Sport and Fitness in Chicago is seeking a Hospitality Team Member to enhance member experiences. You will deliver friendly service, maintain a safe, clean environment, and anticipate member needs during shifts that run evenings on weekdays and some weekend hours.

The ideal candidate is reliable, energetic, and communicative, capable of moving for long periods, and able to lift at least 40 lbs. Start times and schedules are flexible to fit team needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to club members.
• Clean and sanitize fitness machines and equipment.
• Maintain locker room cleanliness including floors, stalls, and showers.
• Restock health and beauty supplies, wash and fold laundry, inspect club orderliness.
• Keep common areas clean: sweep, vacuum, mop, dust, wipe surfaces, and take out trash.

Hospitality Team Member

Our Hospitality Team members are a vital part of our member’s day to day experiences in our club, and therefore, our company’s success. Our team members are efficient, courteous, and always focused on creating positive experiences for our members by providing a safe & clean environment, and anticipating their needs.

A hospitality team member is responsible for…

• Providing excellent customer service to club members.


• Cleaning and sanitizing fitness machines & work-out equipment.


• Maintaining cleanliness of locker rooms, which includes: the ability to sweep and mop floors, clean restroom stalls, floors, toilets, and urinals. Thorough cleaning of shower areas, steam rooms, whirlpools, and saunas.


• Restocking all health & beauty supplies, collecting, washing & folding laundry, and repeatedly inspecting the club for proper orderliness.


• Maintaining cleanliness of common areas of the facility including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting fixtures, wiping down countertops, glass cleaning, taking out trash, etc.

The opening is for a position on the closing team, that will be at the club until 9:15pm on the weekdays, and 5:15pm on weekends. Start time and schedule are flexible.
