Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in casual restaurant industry.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Familiarity with restaurant management software (POS).
• Servsafe license preferred or able to obtain per state mandates.
• Strong knowledge of team leadership and grooming standards.
• Availability to work evenings, holidays and weekends.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to withstand the physical demands of a restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a friendly greeting and engage in genuine conversation.
• Learn the menu, take accurate orders, and manage cash responsibly at your drawer.
• Deliver properly prepared orders and address guest concerns promptly.
• Keep station stocked, clean, and ready for service.
• If back of house, craft menu items to McAlister’s recipes and standards.
• Stay aware of teammates needing support to keep operations running smoothly.
