Job summary

Truluck’s Ocean’s Finest Seafood & Crab is seeking a Team Assistant to support our service staff by supplying materials, helping with expo, bussing, clearing dishware, polishing silverware and glassware, and setting tables for service. This fast-paced role demands teamwork and a proactive approach, with hospitality experience preferred.

Hourly pay plus tips ranges from $18 to $25 per hour. Candidates should be able to stand long hours, lift up to 50 pounds, and maintain professional appearance

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for 9 hours.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform all job functions while wearing the specified uniform, including proper footwear.
• Professional and accurate communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform job functions in accordance with performance standards.
• Perform Team Assistant opening duties and closing duties as directed.
• Maintain dining room cleanliness and safety; report any issues to Leadership.
• Assist servers with cleaning and re-setting tables.
• Set up and maintain service support stations.
• Maintain, clean, and restock restrooms throughout the shift.
• Properly dispose of leftover garbage, stack plates, wrap glasses, separate silverware, and dispose of duty linen.
• Pre-set large parties and prioritize table re-set with host department.
• Inform host department or Leadership of table availability.
• Restock plates, flatware, and glassware to assigned areas.
• Attend all Ambassador meetings and bring suggestions for improvements.
• Always maintain clean and professional appearance.
• Work with a teamwork mindset.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Leadership Team.
