Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Bloomington is seeking a dedicated Steward/Dishwasher to keep kitchen areas clean, stocked, and compliant with safety standards.

You'll operate dishwashing equipment, assist in food prep during peak times, support guest satisfaction, and work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Prior kitchen experience and a High School diploma are preferred; training covers MSDS, OSHA guidelines, and hotel safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous stewarding or dishwashing experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans.
• Operate dishwashing and other kitchen cleaning equipment.
• Store clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition.
• Stock supplies in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars.
• Sweep and wash floors and clean trash cans.
• Sort and remove trash to designated pickup areas.
• Assist in food preparation during staffing shortages or peak periods.
• Contribute to guest satisfaction by maintaining cleanliness and organization.
• Follow MSDS and OSHA safety standards and wear protective equipment.
