Job summary

Hilton Honolulu is seeking a Utility Steward to keep our kitchens and dining areas sparkling while delivering memorable hospitality. You’ll be responsible for cleaning serviceware, maintaining stock, and supporting banquets with clean setup.

The role emphasizes teamwork, integrity, and guest well-being in a fast-paced hotel environment. Ideal candidates have hotel steward experience and at least 6 months of customer service background, with willingness to work varied AM/PM shifts, including

Qualifications

• Previous hotel steward experience.
• 6 months customer service background.
• Shift pattern: varied AM PM 8 hour shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Keep serviceware spotless: clean chinaware, silverware, and cooking utensils; scrub pots and pans; burnish silver.
• Monitor stock levels: ensure supplies and equipment are stocked and organized for seamless service.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness: mop, trash removal and general sanitation.
• Support events delivery: prepare and set up clean serviceware for banquets and functions.
• Train and mentor team members: share expertise with new stewards to strengthen performance.
• Comply with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations to ensure guest and team well-being.
