Job summary

Next Generation Recruitment and Staffing Agency is seeking a friendly Steward to support our kitchen and service teams and help deliver an exceptional guest experience. The role focuses on cleanliness, organization, and efficient operation behind the scenes in a hospitality setting.

The Steward will assist with basic prep, unloading deliveries, inventory checks, and ensuring health and safety standards are followed throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality or kitchen environment preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and handle physically demanding tasks.
• Commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards and health/safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all dishware, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining areas throughout the shift.
• Assist with unloading deliveries and proper storage of supplies.
• Dispose of waste and recyclables according to regulations.
• Support kitchen staff with basic prep and ingredient sorting.
• Monitor dishwashing machines and report malfunctions or maintenance needs.
• Assist with inventory checks and communicate shortages to supervisors.
