Job summary

OC Sports & Entertainment, LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant, Hospitality to support daily accounting operations for Market Hall, bar, and restaurant in a fast-paced live entertainment environment in Southern California. You will help ensure accurate financial records and strong internal controls across multiple venues.

Reporting to the Controller, Hospitality, you will perform month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, tax filings, and cross-functional support including budgeting,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in operations-intensive accounting roles.
• Hospitality, multi-use real estate, franchise, or entertainment experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, budget variance analysis, and internal controls.
• Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementation of accounting systems, processes, and procedures for new lines of business.
• Review and reconcile POS sales reports and record revenue in the F&B general ledger using the correct categories.
• Reconcile daily settlements between POS reports and bank activity.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for all applicable bank accounts.
• Prepare and record journal entries for month-end close.
• Support forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, cash flow planning, and labor allocations.
• Manage intercompany billings and cash settlement processes.
• Prepare monthly sales tax returns and payments.
