Job summary

The Crescent Hotels & Resorts security team is seeking a vigilant professional to protect our Houston property. You will patrol guest areas, monitor cameras, and maintain a visible security presence while delivering courteous service to guests and staff.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, documenting reports, coordinating with departments, and assisting with emergencies. Flexibility for nights and weekends is required, with a strong focus on confidentiality and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous security or loss prevention experience preferred, especially in hospitality.
• Ability to obtain required security certifications for the property location.

Responsibilities

• Patrol hotel guest areas, back-of-house, entrances, and parking to deter incidents.
• Monitor security cameras and alarms, maintaining a visible security presence.
• Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies with professional conduct.
• Prepare accurate incident, daily activity, and event reports for review.
• Investigate incidents and document findings with clear, factual detail.
• Assist with emergency procedures and evacuations as needed.
• Enforce hotel policies while treating guests and staff with respect.
• Control access to restricted areas and manage key procedures.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering and management.
• Communicate with local law enforcement or emergency services when required.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest, employee, and hotel information.
• Complete logs, inspections and security documentation; perform other duties as assigned.
