Job summary

Extrity Services is seeking a Director of Security & Guest Protection to lead on-site physical security across a luxury hospitality campus. You will manage protective operations, incident readiness, guest privacy, and vendor coordination, reporting to senior property leadership.

The role requires eight+ years in security, VIP protection experience, and the ability to balance discreet hospitality with rigorous safety and operational policy.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of progressively responsible physical-security, protective-operations, or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading supervisors and multi-shift security operations.
• Proven track record protecting luxury hospitality, private estates, or similar environments.
• Experience planning for VIPs, executives, celebrities, or high-profile guests.
• On-site availability including evenings, weekends, holidays, events, and emergencies.
• Armed registration is preferred only if the final role requires carrying a firearm.

Responsibilities

• Lead campus physical-security and protective-operations program, staffing, post orders, and escalation.
• Maintain risk assessments, threat reviews, and guest, employee, event security criteria.
• Advise leadership on risks, staffing, costs, and operational tradeoffs.
• Maintain discreet, hospitality-centered security presence aligned with luxury guest experience.
• Oversee VIP/high-profile protection planning, advance risk context, routes, escorts, and contingencies.
• Coordinate with external protective teams, staff, and authorities as needed.
• Develop and manage security budgets, dashboards, and executive reports.
• Recruit, coach, schedule, and retain security supervisors and professionals.

Education

Bachelor's degree in security management / related field

ASIS CPP certification

FEMA ICS-100/200/IS-700/IS-800 training

CPR / First Aid certification
