Job summary

Highgate Hotels is offering a Sales & Marketing Intern role in the United States. You will gain hands-on exposure to the day-to-day operations of a hotel's Sales, Revenue Management, Events, and Marketing teams, learning how these areas collaborate to drive guest experiences and hotel performance.

You will work alongside experienced hospitality professionals, assist in inquiries, communicate with guests and clients, support meetings and events, and keep sales and event information organized.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Must reside in the market.
• College coursework in related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication with all levels of staff and guests.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Attend all hotel meetings and trainings.
• Maintain regular attendance and professional appearance.
• Maintain confidentiality and show initiative.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone and email messages; respond accordingly.
• Stay current with computer programs and innovations as applicable.
• Support smooth operation of the office.
• Greet guests, clients, and employees when necessary.
• Attend meetings and trainings as required by management.
• Distribute daily change logs, resumes, site events, and event details if requested.
• Work with Delphi FDC and Opera.
