Job summary

Maine Course Hospitality Group (MCHG) is seeking a Sales Manager to drive revenue and expand relationships for the Courtyard Portland Downtown/Waterfront. You will develop new business, grow existing accounts, and support property-level revenue goals while delivering an outstanding guest experience.

This field-based role requires proactive outside sales activity, strong client relationships, and collaboration with hotel leadership to maximize occupancy, ADR, and meeting space utilization.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel or hospitality sales preferred.
• Ability to generate new business through in-person, phone, and email outreach.
• Strong research skills to identify new leads and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead sales initiatives to increase revenue and market share.
• Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients and partners.
• Coordinate with hotel leadership to align sales objectives with operations and revenue management.
• Promote the hotel's meeting and event space and convert inquiries into bookings.
• Manage site tours, lead generation, and the coordination of group bookings and events.
• Coordinate with Food & Beverage and other departments on group details and logistics.
• Track group payments and ensure seamless execution of stays and events.
