Marriott Riverside at the Convention Center in Riverside, CA is seeking a Sales Manager to maximize room sales and profit through aggressive sales efforts and close coordination with hotel operations.

You will conduct outside and inside sales calls, prepare marketing plans, send proposals, document client requirements, and maintain a sales quota while delivering excellent guest service. Some travel is required and you will report to the Director of Sales in a collaborative team.

Qualificações

• Strong business communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
• Talk and listen to clients, demonstrating excellent sales skills by knowing and selling product in a professional and courteous manner.
• May be required to work varying schedules to include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct a successful, aggressive solicitation process involving outside sales calls, inside appointments, telephone calls, individual letter and direct mail.
• Assist the Director of Sales in the preparation of the annual marketing plan and action plans for market segments.
• Send proposals on leads that fit the property and follow through to convert to definite status.
• Outline on booking sheets client room block requirements and meeting space needs.
• Obtain and document all necessary information on definite groups and VIP arrangements.
• Maintain a sales quota and focus on customer satisfaction and guest needs.
• Prepare weekly sales call reports and itineraries for planned calls.
